Houdini Geometry Not Showing
The viewport is empty or shows the wrong node
Also known as: Houdini viewport empty · Houdini display flag · Houdini render flag · Houdini node not visible · Houdini bypass flag · Houdini geometry invisible
Quick answer
Geometry does not show in Houdini when the node you want to see does not have its Display flag turned on. In the network editor, click the blue circle on the right side of the node so the viewport shows its result, and the purple Render flag decides what is used when rendering. Also check that the yellow Bypass flag is off, because it skips the node, and press Home in the viewport to frame everything.
How to fix it
If the viewport is still empty, check that the node has no errors, shown as a red mark, and that the geometry spreadsheet contains points. A node with the Display flag on a different branch hides the others, and templates show geometry in the background without selecting it. Use the Geometry Spreadsheet to see what the node outputs and look at the node information panel for the count of points and primitives.
