  3. 3.Practice hand-painted detailing using brushes on top of procedural base layers for stylized looks

Quick Tip

Use the Geometry Mask in the Layer panel to isolate painting to a single mesh piece in a multi-mesh scene — right-click any layer, choose "Add geometry mask", and click only the SubMesh you want affected. This prevents color bleed between texture sets.

Setup Notes

  • - Set your project texture resolution to 4K during painting but export at 2K for most game assets — you can always re-export at higher resolution without re-painting
