A working blacksmith's forge scene built around a furnace, anvil, and overhead crane. The furnace was pushed through the full pipeline in one comparison shot — wireframe, clay, and final colour side by side — which is deliberately included here because it's the clearest single-image explanation of how a hard-surface prop moves from topology to sculpt to material. The anvil and crane were sculpted separately in ZBrush for their own wear and tool-mark detail, then everything was assembled and lit in Unreal Engine 5. The brief called for a space that feels actively used, not a museum piece.
Seven images cover the piece, including a second full clay render of the forge shown alongside the final scene render — a checkpoint that confirms the scene's composition and lighting balance still worked once colour, texture, and heat-glow effects were layered on top of the grey blockout stage. Hard-surface props like the anvil and crane are exactly the kind of asset built in the 3D Artist course, where topology, sculpt, and bake are treated as one continuous pipeline rather than separate skills, and this piece is used as a reference for exactly that continuity.
