Architecture & Props
5 images
A tall gothic temple facade built to anchor a village or town square as its visual landmark. The structure was sculpted in ZBrush in multiple passes — the base architecture first, then a second pass adding weathering, moss, and cracked stonework — before final texturing and lighting in the engine. Gothic architecture lives or dies on its silhouette against the sky, so the spire proportions and buttress spacing were locked early and checked repeatedly at a distance, the same way a hero character's silhouette gets checked before detail work begins.
Five images track the temple from its two separate sculpt passes through to two finished scene renders taken from different distances — one close enough to show carved stonework, one far enough back to confirm the silhouette still anchors a skyline. Landmark buildings like this are exactly the kind of asset covered in the 3D Environment Masterclass, where a single hero structure has to justify an entire village's sense of scale. As with the other pieces filed under Architecture & Props, the emphasis here sits on a single standout building rather than a full walkable environment, letting the sculpt and material work carry the entire read on their own without a full scene's worth of set dressing to lean on.
